On Wednesday, September 27th 2006, Harrisburg Fire Department, Cabarrus County EMS and CC Rescue were dispatched to a MVA with Pin-in. Harrisburg Engine 1 and Chief 1601 arrived to find a passenger vehicle vs. a tractor-trailer. The Patient in the car was pinned. Chief 1601 established command while Engine 1 began extrication. Cabarrus County EMS attended to the patient. Engine 2 assisted with vehicle stabilization and extraction. Cabarrus Rescue provided additional manpower and equipment. Jackson Park VFD was called to assist with a landing zone for Med Center Air.
