On Monday, September 25th Harrisburg Fire Department
was dispatched to a MVA with Pin in. Harrisburg Fire Chief 1601
arrived to find a two vehicle collision with one of the vehicles on
its side. 1601 established command and gave Engine 1 extrication.
Cabarrus County EMS 7 attended to the patient. Harrisburg Engine 2
and Rescue 1 assisted with stabilizing the vehicle and extrication.
It took crews approximately 15 minutes to extricate the patient from
the vehicle. Concord Fire & Life Safety Engine 5 was called to
assist with a landing zone.
