In the Afternoon of Friday, February 25th, Harrisburg FD was dispatched reference a Gas Leak. Harrisburg personnel arrived on scene to find a 16 inch Gas line cut. Concord Fire & Life Safety Haz Mat 7, Engine and Rescue 5 were requested to assist. Companies from Newell VFD covered The Harrisburg District. Other agencies that assisted were, Cabarrus Emergency Management, Cabarrus EMS, and Cabarrus Sheriff's Department. Units were tied up until the early morning hours.
