on Caldwell Road
 Harrisburg
FD was dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Accident. Harrisburg Engine
1 arrived on scene and found a Passenger Vehicle versus a
Tractor Trailer Dump Truck and what appeared to be a head on
collision, Pin in was confirmed and upon closer investigation a
ruptured saddle tank from the truck was observed. |

Mulch Fire
 Harrisburg Fire Department was assigned to investigate smoke in the
area of Tarheel Bark Company. Engine 2 and Brush 2 investigated and
found several large mulch piles burning as well as small brush
fire. Engine & Brush 2 began suppression operations, Engine 1
was called for additional assistance. Harrisburg FD had to
utilize several heavy equipment machines since no employees were
present. |

Hardee's Fundraiser
 Harrisburg firefighters teamed up with Hardee's to
promote their New Spicy Jalapeño Thickburger by handing out fire
extinguishers to customers. Harrisburg firefighters raised $5,000.00 to
benefit the Joshua B. Earley Memorial Scholarship thanks to a donation
from the Hardee's Corporation. |
